Samuel Jr. and Rachel Paschal have been married since August 30, 1981. Samuel is Director of IT at a local university in Columbia, South Carolina and an Elder at his Church. Rachel is a counselor and a licensed Chaplain. Together they co-own and facilitate marital workshops with the purpose of supporting and encouraging happy healthy marriages and family relationships.
“What we have learned to make our love last is being intentionally consistent in our communication, Spiritual and Sexual intimacy and we CHERISH and PROTECT our quality time. During our quality time we go on dates, do marital housekeeping, plan our romantic getaways, allow God to help us resolve conflict. We have learned to really listen and respect each other, laugh, talk, and just hang out together. We have definitely had our good, bad, happy and sad times. But we have learned that in order to build and protect our Love Connection, we have to be intentionally committed to God and each other.”

Rachel holds a Master degree in Clinical Psychology, Specialization in Clinical Counseling. Rachel is a licensed Chaplain, and the president of “Building Relationships 4 Life Ministry, LLC.”
Samuel is an ordained Elder and currently holds a Master Degree in Computer Technology Management. Samuel has been employed as a Programmer/Analyst for more than 30 years, and is currently the Director of IT Services at a local university in South Carolina.
Samuel & Rachel are co-facilitators of “Building Relationships 4 Life Ministry, LLC.” Samuel and Rachel have facilitated workshops at various marriage retreats, as well as marriage and family life weekends, for several churches across the United States including Alabama, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. They have facilitated numerous workshops for the South Atlantic Conference’s Married Lovers Retreat.
Rachel has written several workshops under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Rachel has facilitated workshops for women’s retreat. The Paschal have been married for over 42 years and are the proud parents of two sons and two daughter-in law’s, as well as proud grandparents of their adorable grandchildren. Samuel and Rachel love God, each other, their family and their fellow man. Samuel and Rachel love spending time together and they desire to take this ministry to wherever God will send them.

Samuel M. Paschal III is the oldest son of Elder Samuel M, Jr. and Chaplain Rachel Paschal. Samuel is the product of Christian education from elementary through college. Sam served as a Youth Pastor in Los Angeles, CA, 10th & 12th grade Religion Teacher and Drama Teacher at an Academy in Los Angeles, CA. He served as a Boys’ Dean, 11th Grade Bible Teacher, and 12th Grade Servant Leadership Drama Ministry Teacher before accepting an offer to be the school’s Spiritual Life Coordinator and Bible Teacher at a Academy in Apopka, FL. He has also served as the Youth Director for Mt. Olive SDA Church, the General Manager for 24 Hour Fitness in Lake Mary, FL, and the GED Instructor for Project Bridge Orlando. His current appointment from God is the Chaplain for 9-12 grade and Bible Teacher for Walker Memorial Academy. His favorite texts are Psalm 23, 1 Corinthians 10:13, and 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Sam is looking forward to enjoying the fruits of God’s labor for him forever; however, until then he loves his favorite past time, which is, hanging out, having fun with his wife and their twins Samuel IV and Madison. In his spare time, he also enjoys acting, writing and directing stage plays, motivational speaking, singing, working out, eating, and sleeping. Pressing on towards the mark of the high calling of God, he hopes to one day have some fun with Jesus, act out for the angels, arm-wrestle with Samson, race his guardian angel, clime the highest mountain, and sit at the Welcome Table one of these days.

Shaun M. Paschal was born in Huntsville, AL and is the youngest son of Elder Samuel M. Jr and Chaplain Rachel Paschal. He is an ordained Elder and Licensed Chaplain. Shaun graduated from Oakwood University with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and later received his Masters In Divinity (MDiv) with a concentration in pastoral studies from Andrews University Seminary.
Shaun has been in ministry at his local church serving as an Elder, supervising departments, and preaching in other churches around the state. He is the former President for South Carolina’s Youth Federation which he served for 3 years. Shaun is currently pursuing a career as a Navy Chaplain. Shaun loves the Lord and has a passion to share that love with people of all ages, especially young people.
On December 18, 2022, Shaun married the one God kept for him, the beautiful Tiffany Miles-Paschal. One of his favorite verses is Isaiah 41:10.
